Ritam Hindu Teen Yuva Shivir October 2026

Hindu Parenting is holding a 3-day, 2 night residential camp for Hindu teens (boys and girls between the ages of 12-18) in Bengaluru during Oct 23-25.


The Ritam Hindu Teen Yuva Shivir is a unique learning and bonding experience designed to help young Hindus build civilisational confidence, timeless values and self-awareness.

Along with engaging discussions and team activities, participants will enjoy a temple visit to understand Hindu iconography, star-gazing sessions, bhajan singing and a variety of fun activities, creating a perfect blend of learning, reflection, adventure, and shared experiences.

Ramayan Podcast

There is nothing more peaceful than listening to the Ramayana story.  This is a special ongoing podcast that began on Aug 2022 and is based on the Ramayana written by Rishi Valmiki. 

 

 The original shlokas are recited in Sanskrit followed by their English translation. The Sanskrit Shlokas and their English translation are from the "Srimad Valmiki Ramayan" by the Gita Press, Gorakhpur.

Rekha Achyutuni, Founder, Hindu Parenting and podcast co-host

Founder

Rekha Achyutuni

Rekha started this initiative in 2021 to provide Hindu parents with the tools needed to raise children with a strong Hindu consciousness while being able to successfully engage with the modern world. She teaches communication and aesthetics in the popular Alankara shastra course for teens.

 

Rekha is a writer and a educator. She has an MBA from Santa Clara university, California and a Master’s Certificate in Vedic Sciences from MIT-ADT, Pune.

Shalini Puthiyedam

Shalini is podcasting co-host at Hindu Parenting. She is proficient in 7 languages and has worked for about two decades in various roles as an engineer, teacher, student of language, translator, relationship manager and project manager for various projects in diverse domains.​​​​

She believes in the enduring value of Hindu traditions and sees Hindu Parenting as a way to pass on samskaras to future generations.​
